Ronaldo de Lima has revealed why he left Barcelona to join Inter Milan during his playing days, according to report.
The Brazilian had played one season for the Camp Nou outfit before falling out with the board over the disagreement to up his wage.
"I was negotiating to extend my contract with Barcelona,"
"But we didn't finally reach an agreement.
"That's when I decided I didn't want to continue there because I didn't trust the board.
"Inter offered me a great challenge, and at that time Serie A was one of the most competitive leagues in the world, certainly the most difficult," he said to Inter TV.
Ronaldo played 37 games for Barcelona and scored 34 goals in a season before he moved to Inter Milan in 1997 and left for Real Madrid in 2002.
Ronaldo won the Copa Del Rey, UEFA
CUP , Spanish Super Cup with Barcelona before he left and on his return to Spain he won the La Liga, Intercontinental Cup and Super Cup with Real Madrid, But he never won the UEFA Champions League in his blistering career.
