'We won't give them guard of honor' - Zidane claims Barcelona broke the tradition first

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane claims they won't give Barcelona guard of honor should they win La Liga title ahead of El Clasico

We won't give Barcelona guard of honor, they broke the tradition first.' Zidane said to reporters in news conference.

Usually in Spain, when one team wins a title, they receive a guard of honor at the beginning of the following match. 

Nevertheless, this tradition has recently been broken on occasion.

Last summer Barcelona refused to honour Real Madrid after them winning the European Supercup, when both met shortly afterwards in the Spanish Supercup. 

Barcelona refused to do that again in the last El CLasico despite Los Blancos winning the Club World Cup in December.
