Coutinho wants Salah at Barca
Philippe Coutinho is pushing for Mohamed Salah to join him at Barcelona next summer, and wants his former Liverpool team-mate to ignore the calls from Real Madrid, Don Balon reports. The Brazilian believes that Salah is a better fit for Barca than Antoine Griezmann, who the club has already practically signed, and has promised the Egyptian star that he will try to convince Ernesto Valverde to go after the Reds' forward.
Dembele's Tottenham future in doubt
Mousa Dembele's future with Tottenham is in doubt, with the midfielder asking for a three-year contract extension that would see him in London through 2022, reports The Telegraph .
Spurs have balked at the length of the deal for the 30-year-old, who is now refusing to negotiate a new contract until after the World Cup.
Dembele will have just 12 months left on his contract at the end of the current season and has drawn interest from Europe after his stellar displays in the Champions League.
Benzema not interested in move to China
Karim Benzema believes he still has the ability to play at the top level and is refusing to consider moving to the Chinese Super League, according to Don Balon .
Florentino Perez is ready to offload the French forward as soon as the season ends so he can pursue Harry Kane and Robert Lewandowski, and the offer from China is a good deal in his eyes.
But Benzema is insistent that he will not entertain a move away from Europe at this point in his career.
Gattuso signs new AC Milan deal
AC Milan head coach Gennaro Gattuso has signed a new three-year contract, the Serie A club have confirmed.
The 40-year-old has agreed to fresh terms that will reportedly see his wages increased from the €120,000 salary he has had since making the step up from the Primavera team.
It is also claimed Gattuso will have a say in the club's transfer plans for next season as part of the agreement.
