Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed the players that must leave Real Madrid at the end of the season, according to a report in Spanish media.
According to Spanish media Diario Gol, the Portuguese forward has revealed the players that need to leave Real Madrid or to be replaced as the first choice in the Los Blancos squad.
Real Madrid had a disappointing campaign in the La Liga after failing to defend the La Liga title and knocked out of the Copa Del Rey by lowly Leganes.
Ronaldo has told the club president Florentino Perez that he will leave if Real Madrid do
not improve the current squad.
The Real Madrid forward still harbours his frustrations for Real Madrid last season transfer dealings which saw James Rodriguez loaned out and Pepe and Alvaro Morata without a quality replacement for the departing players.
And that has affected their campaign this season especially in the Champions League quarter-finals second leg clash against Juventus, Sergio Ramos was suspended for the tie and Nacho injured.
Raphael Varane and Jesus Vallejo were called up to pair at the heart of the defence but they failed as Real Madrid almost throw away a three-goal advantage.
The Portuguese winger first believes - Diario Gol’s report states - that Real Madrid must recruit a new goalkeeper to demote Keylor Navas to the bench.
With Real Madrid monitoring the likes of Manchester United David de Gea, Thibaut Courtois of Chelsea and Atletico Madrid Jan Oblak.
Ronaldo also wants the president to make changes to the defences having conceded 34 goals in 31 La Liga.
Ronaldo also wants the club to buy a top-notch centre back to pair Sergio Ramos at the defence and believed that Varane, Nacho Fernandez and Vallejo should either be loaned out or sold.
And Diario Gol add
that Ronaldo thinks Madrid also need improved full-back options to compete with Dani Carvajal and Marcelo.
He wants the likes of Marcos Llorente and Dani Ceballos among those likely to leave, albeit potentially only temporarily. Mateo Kovacic should remain at the club.
On Karim Benzema, Ronaldo does not want the Frenchman to leave but needs to be upgraded and according to report Ronaldo wants Wissam Ben Yedder of Sevilla as Benzema’s upgrade.
Gareth Bale is expected to leave and free up space for incoming forward and he also wants Isco to leave and prefer Rodriguez to come back from his loan spell at Bayern Munich.
